Jewish Volunteering Network – Volunteer Management Forum
May 23 @ 9:45 am – 12:30 pm

Welcome to our first Volunteer Management Forum of the year. It’s for anybody working with volunteers!
The Forum will take place on Thursday 23rd May, 9.45am until 12.30pm at Heathlands Village, Prestwich, Manchester, M25 9SB. We are delighted to have Sally Halon joining us to speak about her experiences working with volunteers as the Head of Manchester’s UJIA Leadership Programme and now as the Director for Mavar North.
Following this we will discuss any issues regarding volunteering. There will also be the opportunity for you to network and learn from other people who work with volunteers. If there is an issue you would like us all to discuss, please notify me in advance and we will be sure to include it. If any of your colleagues (professional staff or volunteers) manage or coordinate volunteers, please recommend that they attend.
Topics that have been suggested for the session include:
Online training vs. in-house training
Volunteer management systems
Relatives as volunteers
The volunteering journey
It’s free to attend but please contact Rebecca on [email protected] or 07587792272 to book your place.
Drinks and light refreshments will be provided. Please bring your business cards for networking purposes.
We hope to see you there!
