At a brief meeting in the Council offices Honorary officers, Dr Sydney Baigel and office staff met Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis who will shortly be inaugurated to the post of Chief Rabbi.

R Mirvis praised the work of the Council and expressed a desire to be introduced to the community at the earliest opportunity.

Philip Langer described the work of the Council and presented R Mirvis with a Yearbook.
