At this impossibly difficult time for our community, we have spent the day liaising with Government and speaking on the media.

Yesterday evening, our Chair, Chief Executive and the Regional Director of CST joined the Home Secretary, Mayor of Greater Manchester, the Chief Constable, Police and Crime Commissioner, Chief Fire Officer, the PPS to the Prime Minister, along with the Leader and Chief Executive of Manchester City council at a press conference designed to address the nation.

We have been reassured by the response from our emergency services and elected representatives. The bravery of the first responders and the Synagogue security team has saved many lives and we will all be eternally grateful to them.

As we progress over the coming days, we will continue working across all sectors to ensure our community is properly represented and feels reassured.

We will continue to press all people we speak with to address our longstanding concerns that led to today’s tragic and horrific terrorist attack.
