Alongside Christian Wakeford MP, we met Rachel Blake MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, to discuss the real and growing pressures facing Jewish communities and institutions across the UK.

At a time when Jewish places of worship, schools and community spaces are facing rising threats and increased security concerns, it is vital that we also address the practical consequences that follow. Conversations about insurance, terrorism cover and risk assessments may sound technical, but they have a direct impact on whether community organisations can continue to operate safely and sustainably.

These issues matter because security costs should never become a barrier to community life, worship or education. We are grateful for the engagement and commitment to continue these important conversations to tackle these issues.
