The JRC was delighted to facilitate a visit to Heaton Park Hebrew congregation for Lord Lemos, the Faith Minister and Nesil Caliskan MP, Minister for Housing, Communities and Local Government with responsibility for community cohesion.
During the visit, they met Rabbi Walker and members of the Synagogue leadership, including those who were present on the day of the terrorist attack, before spending time with members of the wider community.
The discussions provided an important opportunity to hear directly from community members, reflect on the challenges they have faced and discuss the importance of strengthening community cohesion and tackling antisemitism.
We thank both Ministers for taking the time to engage with the community, listen to their experiences and demonstrate their continued support.
