Today, on the first National Day for Victims and Survivors of Terrorism, JRC Chief Executive Marc Levy had the privilege of joining a delegation from Heaton Park Synagogue at Lancaster House in London.

We were honoured to stand alongside the Prime Minister, Royalty, Ministers, victims and survivors, alongside representatives from across the country who have been directly affected by terrorism.

For our delegation, this was an especially poignant occasion. The terrorist attack at Heaton Park Synagogue on Yom Kippur changed our community forever.

Today was an opportunity to remember those affected, to hear from victims and survivors from across the country, and to ensure that the experience of Heaton Park Synagogue continues to be heard at the highest levels of government.

We are grateful to the Prime Minister, Ministers, Greater Manchester’s elected representatives, Greater Manchester Police, and the emergency services for the support shown to our community during this challenging time.
