JRC Vice Chair Bernie Yaffe and Management Board member, Raphi Bloom were delighted to meet with Salman Desai, Chief Executive of North West Ambulance Service and Area Director, Sian Wimbury.

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to speak openly about the Jewish community across Greater Manchester and the wider North West and to discuss how we can continue to build a strong and meaningful partnership between our community and NWAS.

For the Jewish community, having strong relationships with those organisations that are there when we need them most is something the JRC prioritises.

We also took the opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Salman, Sian and the whole North West Ambulance Service team for their response to the terrorist attack at Heaton Park Synagogue.

We look forward to continuing this important work together and building an even closer relationship in the months and years ahead.
