The JRC join our national representative bodies and Jewish communities around the world in condemning the awful attack on the Synagogue in Colleyville, Texas.  We are relieved that the hostages emerged from their ordeal physically unscathed.

It is profoundly troubling that the terrorist who perpetrated this crime is from Blackburn, a short drive from the Greater Manchester Jewish community.

It is more important than ever that all communities stand in solidarity against radicalisation.  We place on record our thanks to Greater Manchester Police and the Community Security Trust for their work in keeping our community safe.
