The British-Israel Chamber of Commerce NW (B-ICC) is a Non-Profit of more than forty years, that aspires to increase Bilateral Trade between the U.K. and Israel, alongside a ‘Soft Advocacy’ approach on behalf of Israel, the only Jewish State, which we think is misunderstood and increasingly, since October the 7th, much maligned.

Since June 2023, after the retirement of the much-respected Gideon Klaus, the Executive Committee consists of Executive Director Nigel Tobias, President Robert Levy, Amal Cowan, Carmel Berke and Phil Hodari.

We empathise with Palestinian Self-Determination and support a future Palestinian State which unconditionally, and in peace, accepts the legitimacy of Israel as the Jewish State.

We support the Abraham Accords, which we would like to see expanded to increase the cultural, inter-community, and trading benefits for the Middle East that will come from an enlarged group.

Our members, predominantly but not exclusively commercial, pay an annual membership, we try to host quarterly collaborative events and we regularly work with the Israeli Embassy in London, and our Leeds-based colleagues of UK-Israel Business (North East).
