Greater Manchester Vigil in Solidarity with Israeli Victims of Hamas Attack

Following the recent atrocities in Israel over 1500 people from the Jewish communities of Greater Manchester and surrounding regions, along with supporters of Israel, came together for a moving and emotional vigil organised by the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester & Region, the Jewish Leadership Council and the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

Respected figures such as; Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, Lord John Mann of Holbeck Moor, Chair of the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester & Region, Mark Adlestone OBE DL, Metro Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, Police & Crime Commissioner, Kate Green OBE, Robert Largan MP, Chris Green MP, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons, Lucy Powell MP, Christian Wakeford MP, Marie van der Zyl OBE, President of the Board of Deputies and Keith Black, Chair of the Jewish Leadership Council expressed their strong support and genuine sadness which resonated deeply with attendees underling a powerful moment of unity and solidarity with Israel and a commitment to fight antisemitism in the UK.
