We were delighted to welcome the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves to Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation where she made an important announcement on further security funding for the Jewish community.
JRC Chief Executive, Marc Levy, the Rabbi of Heaton Park, Rabbi Daniel Walker and Community Security Trust (CST) Regional Director, Amanda Bomsztyk MBE (who are both also JRC Management Board members) joined the Synagogue leadership in addressing our community’s concerns. The Chancellor was joined by the Police and Crime Commissioner, Kate Green and Christian Wakeford MP.
We thanked the Chancellor for her longstanding support and remarks stating how determined she is to help combat extremism and tackle antisemitism across society.
