Civic Service Coronation Celebration at Manchester Cathedral

We were delighted to join other dignitaries and faith leaders at a Civic Service to celebrate the Coronation at Manchester Cathedral.

Our Chair, Mark Adlestone spoke movingly about how King Charles III ensured the Chief Rabbi could attend and participate in the Coronation before reciting a prayer in Hebrew and English.

For more than 100 years, the Council has been responsible for representing, protecting, uniting, defending and serving the Jewish community of Greater Manchester and region.
