The JRC continued our positive engagement with the NHS across Greater Manchester this morning, bringing together key communal stakeholders for an important meeting with senior NHS leaders.
The meeting was chaired by JRC Chair Mark Adlestone OBE and provided an opportunity for our communal stakeholders to thank the NHS for the way in which it has cared for members of the Jewish community, recognising our cultural sensitivities and the importance of meaningful engagement with our community.
We discussed how this extensive engagement has helped improve the experience of Jewish patients across Greater Manchester, while also looking at how we can continue to strengthen understanding, communication and provision for our community.
We were delighted to be joined by:
- Kimberley Salmon-Jamieson – Deputy Trust Chief Executive & Chief Nursing Officer, Manchester university NHS Foundation Trust
- Steph Latwon – CEO, Manchester Royal Infirmary
- Gareth Adams – CEO, Clinical and Scientific Services
- Jo Rowe – CEO, North Manchester General Hospital
The JRC will continue to work closely with the NHS to ensure that the needs of the Jewish community remain understood and reflected across healthcare provision in Greater Manchester.
