Manchester is very honoured to be hosting the annual conference of the International Council of Christians and Jews in the coming week.
This morning we were addressed by Dr Deborah Weissman, the President of the ICCJ. She discussed whether the dialogue between Christians and Jews needs to be extended to Muslims. She also spoke of the need to accept ‘the other’.
Lucille Cohen offered the Vote of Thanks and presented Dr Weissman with a book on the history of Manchester Jewry by local historian Bill Williams.
