The film is based on the extraordinary story of Holocaust survivor Maxwell Smart, and his best-selling memoir ‘The Boy In The Woods’. Maxwell was originally from the Galicia region of Poland, and the film takes place in 1943, following his journey of survival.

The writer and director of the film, Rebecca Snow will be in attendance at the festival, as will one of the lead actors Richard Armitage. Both be answering questions from the audience after the film.

The film will be shown at the Manchester Odeon.
