Our Chief Executive met the Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon David Lammy MP and Victims Minister, Alex Davies Jones MP along with James Frith MP to discuss the aftermath of the deadly terrorist attack targeting our community. We again expressed our gratitude for the way in which Government immediately responded and discussed steps already announced to reassure Jewish people across the country.

We focused on the support our community is offering to the families of those murdered and injured whilst understanding what recourse is available from Government. We will be working with Government to ensure those who have suffered have access to what they are entitled.

We again referenced the cumulative impact of the marches, the need to call out Islamic extremism and the requirement for an urgent regulatory overhaul to ensure those guilty of overt antisemitism and incitement face consequences. We also welcome the commitment to help stamp out antisemitism in cultural venues and the agreement that we need to urgently work to bring different communities together to foster mutual understanding.
