The third night Chanukah lighting was hosted by the Mayor of Fylde, Frank Andrews at Fylde Town Hall for the fourth year running. Attending were Councillors, St Annes Jewish community, members of the Preston Jewish community, local primary schoolchildren, Headteachers of Kirkham Grammar School and the Chair and Vice-Chair of Freckleton Primary School.

In light of the attack in Sydney the attendance was even greater than usual with over 80 people as so many local residents wanted to show their solidarity and support for the Jewish community.

Rabbi Danny Bergson, Rabbi of St Anne’s Hebrew Congregation and JRC Stakeholder Manager led the lighting and singing.
