The JRC and The Jewish Leadership Council were delighted to welcome Dr Dave Rich, CST’s Director of Policy, to Yeshurun Hebrew Congregation – Cheadle & Gatley for an insightful evening in conversation with JRC Chair, Mark Adlestone.

Drawing on the themes of his books Everyday Hate and The Left’s Jewish Problem, Dave reflected on how life for British Jews has fundamentally changed since the 7th October 2023 and the Heaton Park terrorist attack on Yom Kippur.

The discussion also explored the work of Community Security Trust (CST), how antisemitism and extremism is increasingly manifesting across society, the current political climate, the challenges facing the Jewish community, the breakdown of meaningful interfaith relations and CST’s hopes for the future.
