Thank you to James Frith MP for using his platform on the DCMS Select Committee to highlight the failings of the BBC. in his role as the Bury North MP, James has been a huge supporter of the JRC and the Jewish community.

This week, he questioned the Chair and Director General of the BBC around the appalling coverage from Glastonbury. The fact this was denoted as an “antisemitic broadcast” by the Director General as part of his questioning highlighted how far the organisation has fallen in relation to their judgement and standards.

We will continue to work with James and Government to ensure our concerns regarding the BBC and other cultural institutions are continually raised at the appropriate levels.
