As we continue speaking with Government and media in the aftermath of the terrorist incident in Golders Green, we held our latest Jewish Strategic Group meeting at the Heaton Park Synagogue that was itself targeted in a deadly attack targeting Jewish people on Yom Kippur.

The group brings together representatives from across our diverse community alongside key stakeholders in wider society. It provides an invaluable opportunity to connect, share insight and highlight the work being carried out by charities undertaking amazing work to support our community.

We are grateful to Bury Council Leader Eamonn O’Brien and Chief Executive Lynne Ridsdale for joining us and speaking openly about a range of important issues, including tackling antisemitism, social care, housing, SEND provision and the cost of living.
