JRC Management Board member, Raphi Bloom was honoured to attend and speak at the AGM of the League of Jewish Women North-West.
He reflected on what has been one of the most challenging periods our community has faced in decades – a time marked by rising anti-Jewish racism, fear and uncertainty – and highlighted how, throughout it all, Greater Manchester’s Jewish community has remained strong, united and resolute.
Raphi spoke about the crucial role of the JRC in representing our community at the highest levels of government, in the media, and in ensuring our safety. He also emphasised that none of this work happens alone – it is built on partnerships with communal organisations like the League of Jewish Women, whose volunteers form part of the backbone of our communal strength.
A heartfelt thank you to the LJW for your unwavering dedication, compassion and time. Your work uplifts and supports so many across our Greater Manchester community.
