JRC Panel Discussion on Crisis Leadership and Lessons Learned

JRC Chief Executive – Marc Levy, Chair – Mark Adlestone OBE and JRC Management Board members Raphi Bloom and Rabbi Dani9el Walker were delighted to take part in a panel discussion on crisis leadership and the lessons learned over the past year at the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme Alumni event in Manchester. This followed a talk from Raphi on the history and current demographics of the Greater Manchester Jewish community.

The Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme brings together senior leaders from across the Jewish community, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and networks to strengthen communal leadership.

The event also provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the resilience and future of the Greater Manchester jewish community with key communal stakeholders, including Motti Bamberger (Hatzola), Sue Shave (Manchester Jewish Museum), Adam Jacobson (Maccabi) and Aaron Fruman (King David Schools).

Attendees also heard a deeply moving and emotional testimony from Yoni Finlay, who was shot and injured in the Heaton Park terrorist attack. His reflections on resilience, recovery and his perspective on life were powerful and inspiring.

It was a brilliant event, bringing together so many Dangoor alumni from across the country to share experiences, learn from one another and strengthen the future leadership of our community.
