“The JRC is appalled by the shocking arson attack on Hatzola ambulances in London.
Hatzola is a service that our community holds in the highest regard and with deep affection Its volunteers are on call day and night, providing lifesaving care with extraordinary dedication. This service is not only for the Jewish community, but for anyone in need.
To target Hatzola is not only an attack on the Jewish community, it is an attack on society as a whole. We stand in full solidarity with Hatzola’s volunteers and with the wider Jewish community in London. We are grateful that no lives were lost and we pay tribute to the courage and resilience of those who will continue their work despite this hateful act.
There is no place for antisemitism or hatred in our country. We urge all communities and leaders to stand together in condemning this hateful attack and the Government to start implementing its extremism strategy urgently.”
