Last night, The Fed and the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester & Region were delighted to welcome Lord Michael Gove in conversation with Jonathan Sacerdoti for a thought-provoking and wide-ranging discussion on Israel, British Jewry, anti-Jewish racism and the challenges and opportunities shaping Jewish life today. The event attracted an audience of 330 people from across the community, reflecting the importance of these conversations at such a pivotal time.

In opening the evening, Raphi bloo0m reflected on the shared mission that brings The Fed and the JRC together. While one delivers social care and the other provides representation and advocacy, both organisations are driven by the same goal: to strengthen, protect and sustain Jewish life in Greater Manchester.

He spoke about the importance of caring for our most vulnerable, standing up for our community, and ensuring a vibrant Jewish future for generations to come.
