Thank you to County Councillor Stephen Atkinson, the Reform UK Leader of Lancashire County Council for meeting with our Chair and Chief Executive. We are grateful for Stephen’s longstanding support to the Jewish community across the region.

We had an excellent discussion focused on using the IHRA definition to tackle antisemitism, highlighting how the marches across the region have a profound effect on our communities’ confidence, whilst emphasising the importance that police act to enforce the proscription of Palestine Action.

We also discussed the importance of social cohesion and how it is essential to hold respectful and open dialogue between our diverse communities.
