Filis Rosenberg, Frank Baigel, Rita Valiukonyte, Cultural Attache, Embassy of The Republic of Lithuania, Max Dunbar CEO Manchester Jewish Museum and Lucille Cohen
On Tuesday 11th September Manchester Jewish Representative Council President Frank Baigel along with ex Officio Lucille Cohen and Hon. Secretary Filis Rosenberg entertained Cultural attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, Rita Valiukonyte at the Manchester Jewish Museum.
Manchester Jewish Museum CEO Max Dunbar gave Ms Valiukonyte a guided tour of the museum.
The meeting was at the request of the Lithuanian Embassy who are trying to strengthen ties with the Jewish Community inManchester and across the country.
As there are very strong historic ties between Lithuania and the Jewish people, this meeting was very much welcomed by the JRC and it hopes to further strengthen ties in the future.
