“The Greater Manchester Jewish community is devastated by the murder of Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky. Jewish communities around the world continue to face record levels of antisemitism.

A byproduct of this appalling hatred has led to extremists being emboldened and Jewish people yet again being targeted in a deadly terrorist attack.

The perpetrator is reported to have shouted “Free Palestine” at the time of the attack. This highlights our longstanding concerns around the current Middle East conflict being imported onto streets around the world. We implore all communities in Greater Manchester not to let this happen here and call on members of society to unequivocally condemn this horrific crime.”
