Rabbi Danny Bergson, on behalf of the JRC and St Anne’s Hebrew Congregation, recited memorial prayers at the Lancashire Constabulary Annual Armistice Day Service. Danny is pictured together with Christian Chaplain, Tony Ward, the standard bearer and trumpeter from Lancashire Constabulary.

The JRC represented the Jewish community at cenotaphs across Greater Manchester and Lancashire to mark Remembrance Sunday. We remember with pride and gratitude the courage of those who fought for freedom, including the many Jewish men and women who served in the British Armed Forces.

It was wonderful to join Ed Horwich and the Jewish Small Communities Network at their Parliamentary Drop-In, supported by Andrew Snowden MP.
