The Department of Health is aiming to increase the number of organ donations across England as there is currently a shortage of donors. The government plans to change the existing organ donation system to make it ‘opt-out’ rather than ‘opt-in’, and wants to find out what people think of how the changes should be made.
The Department of Health is running a consultation, which will end on 6 March 2018, and would appreciate support in sharing the consultation with your stakeholders, partners and service users to ensure a capture of a wide range of responses. Please share this information with your members.
