Tributes on Dr Sydney Baigel’s 85th birthday

At the Annual general Meeting of 12th May 2013 Dr Sydney Baigel was presented with the following citation and his favourite whisky celebrating his 85th birthday and a lifetime dedicated to communal service. Former JRC Presidents Barbara Goldstone, David Arnold, Louis Rapaport and Lucille Cohen paid tribute

For more than 100 years, the Council has been responsible for representing, protecting, uniting, defending and serving the Jewish community of Greater Manchester and region.
